Top-class container terminal.

Most of the containers are handled by APM Terminals Gothenburg. The containerterminal, covering 80 hectares, is a top-class international facility and is ready to handle your cargo both safely and efficiently.

APM Terminals Gothenburg is the biggest container terminal in the Nordic region. It has the biggest range of routes for container traffic in the country, with capacity to handle the biggest vessels in the world. The terminal is connected to the railway system, which can receive three full-length trains on tracks that are 2,250 metres long.

Are you picking up or dropping off goods?

To visit the Port of Gothenburg, you must pass through Port Entry, the joint entrance to the entire port area.

Vessel calls

All vessels that are due to call at the Port of Gothenburg must issue notification at least 24 hours before arrival.

Priority for electric trucks

Electric trucks receive priority passage and handling in the container terminal in the Port of Gothenburg.

Directions.

Bear in mind that you must submit a pre-registration form in order to visit the port area. You enter the port area via Port Entry, which is a joint point of entry to all cargo terminals.

Skandia gateway –
Deeper fairways

The Port of Gothenburg is the only Swedish port that can receive the world’s largest oceangoing vessels and in doing so offer direct deep-sea services to other continents. Freight vessels are becoming larger and the fairways leading into the port need to be deepened by around four metres.
